About Goldhamster Solicut

Goldhamster Solicut knives are manufactured by Solicut, formerly by Eberhard Schaaf, in Solingen, Germany.
Goldhamster Solicut knives are drop forged from one piece of high quality stainless cutlery steel ( X50 Cr MoV 15 steel for the experts, ) and ice-hardened to about 58 degrees HRC.
Drop forging promotes strength and long-lasting sharpness while ice hardening improves the steel structure and makes it more resistant to rust stains.

Fully drop-forged from one piece of stainless steel, ice-hardened and hand-honed.
The handles are equipped with attractive Kingwood inlays.
